Managing Director and Senior HR Consultant
Amanda established The HR Company in 2009 following a successful operational and HR career in the SME sector.
Amanda is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development and is highly experienced and effective in the delivery of strategic and operational HR solutions to small and medium sized businesses in the private and third sectors. She brings commercial awareness, insight and enthusiasm in order to effect real change and add value.
An HR Generalist with a particular interest in organisation culture and values, Amanda has expertise in designing fully integrated interventions designed to support business growth and sustainability. She is also experienced in dealing with complex disciplinary and grievance issues, handling the situation efficiently and sensitively with due regard for the impact on all concerned, whilst minimising business risk.
Amanda works closely with her clients, applying a pragmatic and flexible approach, and building long term relationships, motivated by a desire to see those businesses benefit from effective HR support.
Julie is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development and has worked in HR for over 25 years, initially in corporate roles with companies of varying size, and has experience of working at all levels from strategic to operational. For over a decade she has been providing outsourced support to organisations of all sizes across a broad range of sectors.
Julie provides Generalist HR support but has a particular expertise in all aspects of employee relations – from individual grievances and issues to national negotiations, and has a strong interest in providing HR support in business change situations such as restructures, mergers, relocations and acquisitions.
HR Consultant and Learning & Development Specialist
A Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development, with a Masters in Human Resource Management, Clare is a highly effective and experienced individual. Having previously held operational, training and human resources positions in a number of different business environments, she now provides consultancy services as well as teaching the post-graduate diploma in Human Resources Management (CIPD) at the University of Huddersfield.
Combined with this experience, and an extensive range of HR and Training qualifications, Clare has the ability to motivate and inspire individuals and groups at all levels. She works closely with her clients to develop and deliver pragmatic and flexible solutions that deliver real results.
Clare is a Registered Centre to deliver licensed retail qualifications for the BIIAB, and Food Hygiene qualifications with CIEH, RSPH.
